On Good Friday, 3 April, and on Easter Sunday, 5 April, the University of Tartu Museum is open as usual from 11:00 to 17:00.

On 27 October from 13–18, the University of Tartu development conference “A university for us, Estonia and the world” took place at the assembly hall of the university's main building and online to initiate a discussion on topics important for society and the university. The discussion were be based on the new University of Tartu strategic plan approved in June.

At the conference “Smart Devices in Schools – Blessing or Curse?”, researchers will discuss using smart devices in schools. Everyone who is interested is welcome to attend the conference on January 30.

On December 17 at 17:12, a joint exhibition by artists Navitrolla, Kärt Summatavet, and Maret Einasto will open at Tartu Observatory

The big telescope in Tõravere celebrates its 50th birthday! We invite everyone to the telescope parade on 12 October at the Tartu Observatory.

On 5 September, one of the world’s leading moral philosophers, Professor Jeff McMahan from the University of Oxford, will give a public lecture on the ethics of killing and just war theory. His lecture marks the publication of a special issue of a philosophy journal focused on the Russia-Ukraine war. The event will be held from 16:00 to 18:00 in White Hall at the University of Tartu Museum.
