From 18 September to 31 October, Latvian speakers are invited to take part in a fun treasure hunt on Toome Hill in Tartu. This playful adventure introduces participants to renowned scientists and cultural figures, explores connections between the Estonian and Latvian languages, and shares fascinating facts, while providing enjoyable entertainment for both adults and children.

On Sunday, 13 September, we will celebrate Grandparents’ Day at the University of Tartu Museum. On this occasion, all visitors can enjoy 50% off the regular ticket price.

On 28 June, the popular exhibition "Invisible Tartu. 800 Years Since the Birth of the City " reopens in an updated form at the University of Tartu Museum. Originally created for Tartu’s year as the European Capital of Culture in 2024, the exhibition will now become a permanent part of the cathedral exhibitions.

On 23 and 24 June, the University of Tartu Museum is closed.

The University of Tartu Museum on Toomemägi and the viewing platforms of the cathedral tower are open longer on Thursdays from early June until the end of August – until 8 p.m.

The exhibition “The Face of a Decade” introduces the painting collection of the University of Tartu Art Museum.

On Good Friday, 3 April, and on Easter Sunday, 5 April, the University of Tartu Museum is open as usual from 11:00 to 17:00.
