Information for the users of the collections

The collections of the University of Tartu Museum can be found mainly in the Information System of Estonian Museums and partially in the online catalogue ESTER

On-site viewing and examination of the collections must be arranged in advance with the curators. 

Use of the museum’s digital images and its information about objects are not restricted for the most part. Please follow the guidelines of the Information System of Estonian Museums and the referencing system of the University of Tartu Museum.

Referencing system

When using materials from the University of Tartu Museum, please always refer to the number of the object and to the museum. 

The preferred name is University of Tartu Museum. Acronyms: ÜAM or KMM.
