About the museum
Tartu Old Observatory is closed on Tuesday, October 5.
The Old Observatory is open from Tuesday to Saturday at 11-17. New opening hours are valid from 1 October to 30 April.
The University of Tartu museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday at 11-17. New opening hours are valid from 1 October to 30 April.
From 9 August, visitors of the University of Tartu Museum must present a certificate to prove vaccination against Covid-19, recovery from this disease or a negative test result.
The exhibition dedicated to memories and values of life, “Face of Death. Life’s Vigour Through Death Masks” is open to visitors in the University of Tartu Art Museum from 14 May.
