International photo contest „INSPIRED BY EUROPE" Participation guidelines

20 years ago, ten countries from Central and Eastern Europe along with Malta and Cyprus joined the European Union. Back then, it was our dream of freedom and new opportunities. Today, it is #reality. Even if we walk our unique paths, we stay united in common #values. We can choose to follow traditions or aim for new horizons. We have the #choice. We have the #freedom. Freedom to be. #InspiredByEurope. 

  1. Take part if you are a student 18+ with a valid national ID. 
  2. Take a photo or pick one from your portfolio. Winning photos from other competitions are not accepted. 
  1. Register your application and submit your photo to inspiredbyeurope@uni-nke.hu before 23:59 of March 18, 2024  
  1. Accepted file format: JPEG. Minimal resolution: 3000 x 2000 px, 150 dpi. Colour mode: sRGB.  
  1. File name must use the template without accents: “Lastname_Firstname_Picture_title.jpg” 
  1. Up to five artwork per person is accepted. 
  1. Photos created or edited by AI do not qualify. 
  1. Contestants must participate in their own name – aliases or competing in the name of a friend or family member are not allowed. 
  1. The contestant is responsible for complying with national and European Union copyright laws, General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable legislative acts. 
  1. Submitted photos must not have offensive, indecent, sexually explicit, abusive or illegal content that is political, discriminatory or hateful. 
  1. The winning photographer from each country will be announced on https://en.uni-nke.hu/ no later than March , 2024. 
  1. The winning photos (size A1, 59.4×84cm) will be exhibited in Brussels, Belgium. 
  1. The winning photographers will be invited to participate in the Opening of the photo exhibition in Brussels, Belgium.
