In 2020, the University of Tartu Museum’s Crazy Scientist, whose conferences introduce the scientific world to the youngest science lovers, won an Estonian science communication award.
The award aims to acknowledge and draw attention to individuals who promote science in Estonia, and boost the activities that communicate science and technology to the general public. All awardees have the right to use the title and logo “Nationally recognised science communicator”, the quality label for science communication.
The awards and titles are presented by the Estonian Research Council in cooperation with the Estonian Academy of Sciences.
