Project INSIGHT

The 36-month programme brings historical scientific instruments to the classroom using a hands-on approach with everyday materials, digital tools etc. The partners involved have joined their expertise to design an integrated approach that will allow students to appreciate the importance of scientific heritage and learn about scientific concepts and practices while developing important competences. The toolkit and demonstrators that will be developed, will be the core of the project’s implementation to schools and a source of inspiration for teachers to use historical scientific instruments in their classroom.

INSIGHT will train and equip educators with the necessary tools and resources for them to introduce History of Science through inquiry to their teaching. Schools will have the opportunity to collaborate with science museums and to turn into hubs for their local community promoting the scientific heritage and engaging more citizens to various scientific concepts.
